Sad news: Yves Saint Laurent died yesterday at age 71. Although best known for his fashion designs, he was a legend in the beauty world, too, thanks to his incredible line of cosmetic products. They offered everyday women like me a touch of true glamour--without the prohibitive price tag of a couture dress. My favorite: Touche Eclat concealer, which makes over-tired eyes bright and gorgeous. His eyeshadows are brilliant, too.

So Long To An Icon
